Media: Syrian Head demanded officials to surrender keys to luxury vehicles

Syria's transitional President Ahmed al-Sharaa has demanded officials to hand over keys to luxury vehicles.

It is noted that at an event in August, he criticized officials and businessmen who arrived in expensive SUVs.

"Al-Sharaa ordered civil servants who own luxury cars to surrender their keys, threatening an investigation into illegal income otherwise. Several keys were handed over as people began to disperse," the article states.
