On August 20, the Russian army launched another massive strike on Ukraine's capital Kyiv and several regions of the country. The main targets of the attacks were food warehouses, energy infrastructure facilities, and logistics centers.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a report by Baku TV.

According to available data, approximately 100 ballistic and cruise missiles were launched during the attack, and more than 100 unmanned aerial vehicles were also deployed. It is noted that due to a shortage of ammunition for air defense systems, most of the missiles reached their targets.

As a result of damage to power plants and food warehouses in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, stores are experiencing shortages of food and non-food products. The Brovary district of the Kyiv region was left completely without electricity.

According to the latest data, the death toll in Kyiv has risen to 15 people, with another 40 injured. Search and rescue operations under the rubble are ongoing, so the number of victims may increase.
