IRIB: Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC Mohammad Pakpour killed in a strike
Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC Major General Mohammed Pakpour was killed as a result of American-Israeli strikes.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
According to the information, former Secretary of Iran's Supreme Defense Council and political advisor to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Admiral Ali Shamkhani, was also killed during the attacks.
Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi has already been appointed to replace Pakpour.
On the morning of February 28, Israel jointly with the United States struck targets in Iran. In response, Iran launched missiles at Israeli territory. In addition, Iranian forces attacked 14 US military bases located in Persian Gulf countries. Due to the situation in the Middle East, some countries in the region temporarily closed their airspace.
