IRGC announced an attack on three vessels in the Strait of Hormuz
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Iranian Armed Forces) has announced that it attacked three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the military's statement was carried by the local agency Tasnim.
The publication notes that the IRGC Navy continues to exercise full control over the Strait of Hormuz.
"Several hours ago, three oil tankers that violated the rules and continued moving along a dangerous and illegal route, ignoring our warnings, were attacked and stopped," the statement emphasized.
It was also noted that the illegal interference of the U.S. military in the activities of vessels in the region, its orders and prohibitions, will not go unanswered.
