Iran threatened Persian Gulf countries
Tehran will not allow US interference in the management of the Strait of Hormuz and has warned Persian Gulf countries that any cooperation with Washington will be regarded as a threat to Iran's national security.
As reported by TASS, this was stated by Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a representative of the "Khatam al-Anbiya" Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces.
According to him, the repeated US actions to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz pose a serious threat to regional security, international trade, as well as the navigation of oil tankers and commercial vessels.
"We will under no circumstances allow the United States to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz," Zolfaghari emphasized.
He also stated that responsibility for any manifestations of instability and further escalation of the situation in the Persian Gulf region lies with the United States and the states cooperating with the American armed forces.
The representative of the Iranian Armed Forces addressed a warning to the leaders of the regional countries, stating that any cooperation with the United States, including providing logistical support to the American armed forces, will be regarded as actions aimed at undermining Iran's sovereignty and national security.
According to Zolfaghari, it is the cooperation of some regional states with the United States that has already led to an increased risk of the war spreading across the entire region.
"In the event of further escalation of the conflict, the flames of war will engulf all countries of the region," he warned.
It should be recalled that from July 8 to 13, the United States carried out several series of strikes on Iranian territory, stating that it was in response to Tehran's attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. In turn, Iran struck American facilities in the Middle East. The authorities of Bahrain, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, and Qatar reported repelling aerial attacks from Iran.
