The South Caucasus should not be viewed as an arena of geopolitical struggle. At least in Azerbaijan, we have achieved this.

As Azertag reports, President Ilham Aliyev stated this at the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.

"We did not allow ourselves to be drawn into geopolitical intrigues. We did not allow any external players to use us for their own purposes, either against someone else or against who knows whom," the head of state emphasized.
