President: The South Caucasus has changed dramatically
The South Caucasus has changed, and dramatically so. In this case, it can perhaps be said that the Second Karabakh War served as the impetus for this.
As reported by AZERTAC, President Ilham Aliyev stated this at the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.
The head of state noted that this war shifted many layers that were considered already established and fossilized. "And the subsequent events in the South Caucasus, related to the full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty, related to Armenia's European aspirations and everything associated with this process, in my view, certainly dictate the need for a rethinking by both analysts and statesmen of this region as a whole," the President emphasized.
