Iran has set new conditions for the US to end the war
The US has no choice but to accept Tehran's conditions in negotiations. This was stated by Ibrahim Rezaei, a representative of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the IRNA agency, Rezaei commented on the negotiation process between Iran and the US.
According to him, countries in the region, as well as oil buyers, are putting pressure on Washington due to the closure of transportation routes. They are demanding that the US create the necessary conditions for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
"If the US wants to act wisely, it has no other choice but to accept Iran's conditions in negotiations," Rezaei stated.
He also reported that the Iranian Parliament is working on the necessary legislative changes to introduce a fee for passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Rezaei, the operating regime of the strait will no longer return to the format that existed before the conflict began.
In conclusion, he emphasized that Iran "will never back down" from the ten conditions put forward by Tehran as part of the negotiations with the US.
