Iran has decided on the choice of a new supreme leader
Iran's Assembly of Experts has reached a consensus on the selection of a new Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.
As reported by BAKU.WS citing the Mehr agency, this was announced by Assembly member Mohammad-Mehdi Mirbagheri.
"The esteemed members of the Assembly of Experts have made efforts in recent days to decide on the Supreme Leader, and they have not let anyone down. Thank God, a firm and unanimous opinion has been formed, which represents the opinion of the majority," he noted.
However, according to Mirbagheri, there remain certain "obstacles that need to be resolved."
