In Iran, the consequences of injuries sustained by Mojtaba Khamenei have been announced

The injuries sustained by Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei during US and Israeli bombings did not disfigure his appearance.

As reported by IRNA, this was stated by the press service of the Islamic Republic's Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, the statement says, Khamenei's injuries did not result in the amputation of any body parts or disability.

"The Supreme Leader's injuries were not of such a nature that his face or overall appearance would be disfigured," the agency quotes the ministry's statement.

Earlier, Reuters, citing sources, reported that after the strike on the residence in central Tehran, the face of 56-year-old Mojtaba Khamenei was disfigured, and both legs were seriously damaged. Despite this, the publication noted, Iran's Supreme Leader "is recovering from his wounds and remains lucid."
