In Georgia, a car fatally struck a 10-year-old Azerbaijani boy

On the Marneuli-Bolnisi highway, near the village of Kolair, a car traveling at high speed fatally struck 10-year-old Azerbaijani boy Eldar Huseynov.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Georgian media, serious tensions arose in Marneuli following the tragic incident. Unrest occurred near the "Aversi" clinic and in the area of 26 May Street.

The relatives of the deceased expressed strong protest over the fact that the child's body was taken from the hospital for examination without notifying the family.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported that a criminal case has been opened under Article 276 of the Criminal Code in connection with the child's death. The investigation is ongoing.
