In Dagestan, a driver recorded a cloud of locusts over the road on video.

"A swarm of locusts attacked a driver in Dagestan. The man encountered a swarm of pests on the federal highway in the Kizlyar area," the publication notes.
The footage shows that a haze formed over the highway due to the abundance of insects. Because of the locusts, the driver had to drive on an empty road at a low speed - about 30 km/h. The recording captures the sound of locusts hitting the windshield. Meanwhile, in Dagestan, as part of the fight against locusts, 33 thousand hectares of fields have been treated against the pests.
