G7 countries congratulated Trump three times on Iran decision

The leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) countries in a joint statement following the summit in France congratulated U.S. President Donald Trump three times on resolving the Iranian conflict in order to win the favor of the American leader.

This was reported by Politico, citing sources.

According to an unnamed diplomat, it was a "deliberate gesture" in order to "not disturb the fragile balance" within the G7. He added that in this way the G7 leaders "expressed their support for him (Trump - ed.)."
