European countries have prepared a tougher package of sanctions against Russia.

As Report informs, this was stated by the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv.

"Europe will strengthen humanitarian, military and diplomatic support for Ukraine. Europe will continue to weaken Russia's 'war machine' through coordinated and tough sanctions. We can prove to Moscow that its actions will not go unanswered, and we will do this together to ensure deterrence and the conclusion of peace," Metsola said.
