Erdogan: The world is rapidly sliding into a period of chaos
The modern world is sliding toward a period of chaos in which the so-called right of might prevails.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TRT Haber, this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the traditional Ramadan iftar with members of parliament.
"Our world is rapidly sliding toward a chaotic period in which brute force is used and the right of the strong prevails. We are once again witnessing this in the process that began with the attacks on our neighbor - Iran," Erdoğan said.
According to him, Turkey has never taken a neutral position on issues concerning the region surrounding it.
"We stand on the side of peace and stability, universal human values, justice and progress. We stand on the side of law, truth, and the preservation of human life wherever people may be, not on the side of killings and genocide," the Turkish leader noted.
