This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the NTV channel.

"We had a very successful, fruitful, comprehensive conversation with Mr. [Vladimir] Putin. I especially emphasized that I am waiting for him at any moment. Therefore, we agreed that we need to meet as soon as possible. He replied: 'I will keep my promise.' I hope that we will carry out this visit in the near future," the Turkish leader told journalists in his pool upon returning from Ashgabat.

"Our relations with Russia are not based on momentary interests, but have deep historical roots, a solid diplomatic foundation, and mutual trust. We mainly discussed the war and peace efforts. Like all other participants, Mr. Putin knows Turkey's position on this issue very well. We believe that this war should have ended long ago, and we openly state this to all our partners," Erdogan noted.

He also stated that the Black Sea should not be used as an arena for settling scores, as this would not benefit Russia or Ukraine.

"The Black Sea should not be viewed as an arena for settling scores, this will not bring any benefit to either Russia or Ukraine. Everyone needs security of navigation in the Black Sea, this must be ensured," said Erdogan.
