Erdogan and Kavelashvili discussed the progress of rescue operations at the plane crash site
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration.
The parties discussed the progress of search and rescue operations at the site of the Turkish Air Force military transport plane crash in Georgia.
Kavelashvili expressed his condolences to Erdogan over the death of military personnel on board the aircraft.
The President of Turkey expressed gratitude for the condolences and support.
Note that on November 11, a C-130 aircraft heading to Turkey from Azerbaijan crashed in Georgia. All 20 military personnel on board the aircraft died.
