Dagestani woman miraculously unharmed in iPhone charger explosion

An original iPhone charger exploded in one of the apartments in Dagestan. The incident occurred 15 minutes after the smartphone was disconnected, reports the Telegram channel "Shot Proverka".

The apartment owner, who was in close proximity at the time of the explosion, was not injured. The explosion occurred approximately one meter from where she was sleeping.

According to the girl, original Apple accessories were used for charging - a branded power adapter and cable. As a result, the mattress and bedside table located near the outlet were damaged.

The causes of the fire have not yet been established. An examination, if conducted, should determine whether this was due to a factory defect, overheating, unstable voltage, or external impact.

It is possible that the charger was not original - fake charging devices that mimic original ones are often found for sale. However, unlike genuine ones, fake devices are not equipped with "smart" controllers that prevent overheating.
