A passenger aircraft caught fire during takeoff in the USA

An Airbus A320 passenger aircraft caught fire at George Bush International Airport in Houston during preparation for departure to New York.

According to The New York Post, citing the Federal Aviation Administration, the incident occurred on United Airlines flight 1382. The critical situation arose when the aircraft began its takeoff roll on the runway - flames suddenly engulfed one of the plane's wings.

Due to prompt actions by the crew, all 104 passengers and 5 crew members were safely evacuated onto the runway. Airport services immediately organized transportation of people to the terminal by buses.

Currently, the causes of the fire are being investigated, and official representatives have refrained from commenting on the circumstances of the incident. The flight was delayed pending investigation of all circumstances of the incident.
