People over 50 were warned about the danger of one vitamin

Geriatric specialist Christopher Norman warned that excess vitamin A can be dangerous for people over 50 years old. This was reported by El Español publication.
According to Norman, at this age many people begin taking various biological supplements due to chronic health problems. However, as the specialist notes, numerous studies show that the necessary amount of vitamin A can be obtained through a balanced diet.
"Vitamin A supplements should be used with caution, as their excess can reduce bone density, cause liver damage and joint pain," emphasized the doctor. He also added that excessive intake of this vitamin increases the risk of fractures, as well as mobility and balance disorders, which is especially important for people over 50 years old.
