Explained reasons for fatigue even after a full night's sleep

Well-known medical specialist Murray Horvat shared important information about the causes of chronic fatigue that affects many people even after a full night's rest. In an interview with Infobae, the doctor explained in detail why some people wake up feeling exhausted despite maintaining a regular sleep schedule.
Horvat identifies sleep apnea as one of the main causes – a condition in which brief breathing stops occur. "With apnea, the body constantly experiences micro-awakenings that a person may not even notice. However, their consequences are felt throughout the next day in the form of pronounced fatigue, even if you slept the recommended eight hours," warns the specialist.
Another factor that deprives one of proper rest is restless leg syndrome. In addition, the expert links daytime drowsiness to narcolepsy – a serious neurological disease characterized by sudden attacks of overwhelming sleepiness during the day. For those who regularly face the problem of chronic fatigue, Horvat recommends getting a blood test for anemia, and for women to additionally check hormone levels.
