Media: Afghanistan and Pakistan have begun hostilities

Fighting between Afghanistan and Pakistan has begun in the disputed border area of Bahramcha in Helmand province.

"Clashes erupted between Pakistani troops and the Taliban along the border in Afghanistan's Helmand province amid the construction of new border checkpoints on the Pakistani side," the report says.

At the moment, the border between the states is closed for all types of transport.
