A nutritionist doctor spoke about products dangerous for children

Whole nuts, grapes, raw honey, carbonated drinks, and energy drinks can pose a serious health risk to children. Russian nutritionist Alla Porkhun told RIA Novosti about this.
The specialist warns that whole nuts and grapes are among the most common causes of choking in young children. Raw honey is of particular concern, as it is absolutely contraindicated for babies under one year of age due to the high risk of botulism.
Carbonated drinks and energy drinks pose no less of a threat – their high sugar and caffeine content not only destroys tooth enamel but also negatively affects the functioning of a child's nervous system.
Porkhun also drew attention to the danger of trans fats, which are abundant in cheap baked goods, fast food, and margarine. These substances contribute to increased cholesterol levels and provoke the development of chronic inflammatory processes in the body.
