A magnetic storm has begun on Earth

Geomagnetic conditions have deteriorated due to a coronal hole on the Sun, with a weak magnetic storm being recorded on Earth.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, this was announced by the Russian Institute of Applied Geophysics.
According to the information, the degree of disturbance of the Earth's magnetic field has reached the G1 level on a five-point scale, where G5 is "extremely strong" and G1 is "weak".
The cause of the geomagnetic field disturbance is a large coronal hole on the Sun. It is noted that on Monday, the solar wind speed increased from 400 to 600 km/s. "The forecast for the peak of storms remains in effect - up to level G2 inclusive with a small probability (about 10%) of level G3 and above," the message says.
