Ronaldo had dinner with US President Donald Trump
Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo had dinner with US President Donald Trump and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Reuters, the athlete was one of the guests at a formal dinner at the White House, which took place after Trump's meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. FIFA President Gianni Infantino and American entrepreneur Elon Musk were also present at the event.
During the dinner, Trump jokingly noted that he had earned more respect from his younger son Barron thanks to his acquaintance with Ronaldo - the forward of "Al-Nassr" and the Portugal national team.
"You know, my son is a big fan of Ronaldo," Trump said, speaking on Tuesday.
"Barron met him, and I think after I introduced you, he began to respect his father a little more," Trump addressed the footballer, causing laughter among the guests.
