José Mourinho appointed as head coach of Real Madrid
José Mourinho has been appointed head coach of Real Madrid. The contract with the specialist has been signed until June 30, 2029.
This was stated in a press release by the "Los Blancos" on the club's official website.
"The Board of Directors of Real Madrid, which met today, Thursday, June 11, chaired by Florentino Pérez, has decided to appoint José Mourinho as head coach of the first team for the next three seasons, until June 30, 2029.
José Mourinho will join Real Madrid on July 13, the day preseason training begins," the statement said.
It should be recalled that the Portuguese specialist previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013. With the club, Mourinho won the Spanish league title and the Copa del Rey.
