FIFA World Cup 2026: Argentina defeated Switzerland

The Argentina national football team defeated Switzerland and advanced to the semi-finals of the World Cup.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the quarter-final match held at the stadium in Kansas ended with a victory for the South American team with a score of 3:1.

Regular time ended in a draw - 1:1. The winner was determined in extra time, consisting of two halves of 15 minutes each.

For Argentina, the scorers were Alexis Mac Allister (10th minute), Julián Álvarez (112) and Lautaro Martínez (120+1). The only goal for the Swiss team was scored by Dan Ndoye (67).

It should be noted that in the semi-finals, Argentina will face England.
