Europa League: "Qarabag" advanced to the next round

The second leg of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round took place, in which Icelandic side Vestri hosted Azerbaijani club Qarabag.

The match was held at the Valbjarnarvöllur stadium in Reykjavik and ended in favor of the visitors with a score of 3:0.

In the 5th minute, the Agdam side's winger Jali Muaddib put his team ahead. In the 29th minute, the "stallions'" midfielder Pedro Bicalho scored. In the 58th minute, forward Zakaria Savo netted the third goal for the Azerbaijani club.

It should be noted that the first meeting between the teams, held at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium, ended with a victory for the Agdam side with a score of 3:0.

Thus, Qarabag advanced to the second qualifying round of the Europa League, where they will face Bulgarian side CSKA.
