Conference League: "Neftchi" lost to Minsk's "Dinamo"

The first match of the II qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League took place, in which Azerbaijani "Neftchi" hosted Belarusian "Dinamo" (Minsk).

The game was held at the Palms Arena in Baku and ended with a score of 4:2 in favor of the visitors.

In the 2nd minute, the home team captain Emin Mahmudov put his team ahead. In the 8th minute, Minsk player Aleksandr Selyava scored an own goal. In the 36th minute, the visitors' forward Karen Vardanyan reduced the deficit.

In the 47th minute, Belarusian midfielder Yevgeny Malashevich leveled the score. In the 57th minute, Vardanyan scored a brace. In the 77th minute, "Dinamo" midfielder Gulzhigit Alykulov converted a penalty and set the final score.

As a reminder, the return match between the teams will take place on July 30 in Bulgaria.
