Alim Nabiev secured his third consecutive victory in MMA

On February 14, the GFC (Georgian Fighting Championship) and Grand Bellagio Championship tournament was held in the city of Batumi (Georgia).

As reported by BAKU.WS, two Azerbaijani athletes participated in the championship.

The most spectacular bout of the evening was the fight between Alim Nabiyev, who resides in Georgia and successfully represents Azerbaijan and Georgia on the international stage, a 7-time world champion and 3-time European champion in kickboxing, known by the nickname "Professor," and Brazilian Jaime Souza.

The bout, which lasted three rounds and took place in an extremely intense struggle, ended with a confident victory for Alim Nabiyev, who completely dominated the fight. Thus, he achieved his third consecutive victory in his MMA career.

Another Azerbaijani winner of the evening was Elvin Kamilli, who defeated Georgian fighter Sandro Datanashvili, bringing another victory to the Azerbaijani team.

It should be noted that athletes from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Israel, and Brazil participated in the tournament.

Well-known athletes and coaches from Azerbaijan arrived in Batumi to observe the competition, as well as representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia and the Consulate General in Batumi, along with representatives of the local community.
