Weather forecasters have again warned the population regarding the weather

According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, in the afternoon of May 19, starting from the northern and western regions, short-term rains with thunderstorms are expected in Azerbaijan. The unstable weather will last until the morning of May 20.

In some regions, heavy downpours and hail are possible, and in mountainous areas, precipitation may turn into wet snow.

Due to the bad weather, water levels in rivers are expected to rise, including in the lower reaches of the Kura. Short-term floods and mudflows are also possible in mountainous areas.
