Family conflict in Astara district ended with a fine for mother-in-law, father-in-law, and sister-in-law.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to qafqazinfo, a resident of Erchivan settlement S.Khasilova (conditional name) stated that she was beaten in her own home by her mother-in-law, father-in-law, and sister-in-law.

Her complaint was investigated by the police. As a result, a protocol was drawn up against the 69-year-old father-in-law, 66-year-old mother-in-law, and 42-year-old sister-in-law of S.Khasilova under Article 510 (Minor hooliganism) of the Code of Administrative Offenses, and they were detained.

During the proceedings held in the Astara District Court with the participation of the parties, S.Khasilova reported that on the day of the incident, she came home and argued with her sister-in-law in the kitchen, after which she was attacked by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, beaten, insulted, and forcibly locked in a room.

The family members against whom the protocol was drawn up stated that there was only a verbal altercation between them, and they did not use physical violence against S.Khasilova.

By court decision, the father-in-law and sister-in-law were fined 50 manats each, and the mother-in-law was fined 100 manats, after which they were all released.
