By 2030, Azerbaijan Railways will purchase 20 passenger trains

As part of improving railway transport infrastructure in Baku and adjacent territories, the purchase of 20 passenger trains is planned for 2025-2030.

According to Report, this is stated in the State Program for improving transport infrastructure in Baku and adjacent territories for 2025-2030, approved by decree of President Ilham Aliyev.

The program includes preparation of procurement conditions, its implementation and signing a contract with the supplier, as well as phased commissioning of passenger trains.
