Accusations from ex-girlfriend against well-known fitness trainer: "He took 550,000 manats from me and beat me

Businesswoman Sh. Yunusova claims that well-known fitness trainer Hidayat Maharramli, born in 1994, committed fraud against her and took more than half a million manats from her.
Oxu.Az reports that the 36-year-old woman, who contacted "Qafqazinfo," said she was previously in a romantic relationship with H. Maharramli, and that he abused her trust.
She claimed that Hidayat, who was once a taxi driver, gained everything he currently has at her expense:
"I met Hidayat Maharramli by chance 5 years ago when he was working as a taxi driver. Later, he told me he was a trainer at a gym. I left the gym where I was training and started going to the gym where he was a trainer. After Hidayat learned where I worked and what I did, our relationship intensified within 3-4 months, and he proposed marriage to me. I told him that since we trusted each other so much, we should work together for 2-3 years first, create our own brand, and that he could become famous by participating in competitions, after which we could get married comfortably. We agreed to this. Both my family and his family knew about our relationship, we had been to each other's homes many times, and a serious relationship had formed between us."
Sh. Yunusova stated that afterward, she spent large sums of money for Hidayat to become famous and participate in competitions, and also gave him a lot of money to generate income at his suggestion:
"After our relationship began, I started investing large amounts for his recognition and marketing. The goal was for him to become famous, get many students, create a brand together, have him represent that brand, and generate income from it. He always told me there was good money in protein sales and that we could earn good income. So I started giving him money in installments.
He started taking money in installments for protein sales, sportswear production, sports nutrition sales, and herb seed sales businesses. Because he drove a 'Prius' car, he said people didn't respect him because of this car. So I first bought him a 'Lexus,' and later a luxury 'Mercedes-Benz.' In total, I bought him cars 4 times, each time more expensive, along with license plates. I only dressed him in 'Under Armour' brand clothing; he would shop in Dubai and Turkey with my card; we bought the most expensive phones and accessories so that he would become recognized and we could develop our business this way. The 14,000 manat necklace he currently wears was also bought by me. The expensive number plate on the car is also in my name. But later it became clear that Hidayat hadn't established any business, and the things he promised were lies. When I asked for the 550,000 manats I gave him for business, he started avoiding it in various ways."
According to the complainant, when she asked for her money back, Hidayat Maharramli began to beat and threaten her:
"He didn't beat me in the first years. But when I saw his lies, that he hadn't established the business he promised, that it wasn't generating income, and I asked for my money back, he started showing violence and beat me multiple times, causing injuries. He also started blackmailing me using the names of various acquaintances and people working in government agencies. He even made threats regarding my brother, saying he would have him arrested, that he would cause trouble for me, have his 'brother' friends cut off my hand, and that I wouldn't be able to leave the house. Each time he said that nobody could do anything to him. All day he shares videos on social media, taunting me, saying, 'Complain wherever you want, I don't care about life.'"
Sh. Yunusova noted that she has appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) regarding her situation, and investigations into Hidayat Maharramli's actions have begun:
"In fact, I spent much more on the business we were going to build together, financing his trips to various international competitions, stays at the most expensive restaurants and hotels, organizing the most prestigious birthday celebrations every year, and arranging photoshoots for him to become famous and develop the business this way. But the amount I'm asking back is specifically the funds he took from me in the name of building a business and generating income. I ask the relevant authorities to look into my appeal and help me recover the damages I've suffered."
Regarding the matter, the well-known fitness trainer stated that Sh. Yunusova's claims are not true:
"Everything being said is a lie and slander. I have evidence and videos. I cut off contact with that woman 2 years ago. She is blackmailing me. Currently, the police are investigating this, and everything will become clear as a result of the investigation."
Elbrus Ibrahimov, an employee of the MIA's Press Service, stated that an investigation is being conducted by the relevant department of the ministry regarding the complaint about the misappropriation of a citizen's funds. Details are subject to investigation.
