K-pop star neutralized an armed robber who broke into her home

34-year-old actress and former vocalist of K-pop group After School, Nana (real name Im Jin-ah), made headlines in South Korean media after managing to detain a burglar who broke into her home. The criminal was subsequently hospitalized.

According to local police, the incident occurred early morning on November 15 in the Seoul suburb of Guri. A man in his 30s broke into a house in the Acheon neighborhood. At the time, the actress herself and her mother were in the apartment.

The burglar, threatening with a knife, demanded money and jewelry from the women, but they resisted him. During the struggle, all participants were injured - the actress's mother suffered serious injuries and lost consciousness, the K-pop star was also wounded, however, the burglar himself appears to have suffered the most.

The women eventually subdued the man, called the police and rescuers. According to law enforcement officers, the burglar is currently in a clinic where doctors are providing him with medical care. After the procedure is completed, he will be interrogated and charges will be brought against him. It is noted that the lives of the actress and her mother are also out of danger.
