Who is he - the new rector of Mingachevir State University?

On April 9, by order of the head of state, Anar Nazim oglu Eminov was appointed as the rector of Mingachevir State University.

Anar Eminov was born in 1982 in the city of Sumgayit.

From 1992-1999, he studied at the Sumgayit Technical and Natural Science Lyceum.

In 2003, he graduated with honors from Azerbaijan State Economic University with a specialization in "International Trade".

In 2003-2004, he continued his education at Aegean University (Turkey), which he also graduated from with honors. In 2004-2006, he received a master's degree in "International Business Management" from Dokuz Eylül University.

From 2006-2010, he studied at Western University with a specialization in "Jurisprudence". Simultaneously, in 2006-2007, he completed distance learning at the Institute of International Trade with a specialization in "E-commerce".

In 2012, he defended his PhD dissertation at the Scientific Research Institute of Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economy with a specialization in "World Economy", and in 2016, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor.

From 2015-2020, he studied in the doctoral program at Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management with a specialization in "Industrial Economics".

In 2023, he was appointed as the Head of the Research and Development Department, and later as the Director of the Yüksək Təhsil İnstitutu (Higher Education Institute) of Azerbaijan Technical University.

The main directions of A. Eminov's scientific activity are research on the effectiveness of investment projects in the social sphere. He is the author of about 200 scientific articles, five textbooks, and one monograph.
