President: Protection of the common cultural heritage of Turkic peoples should become one of the leading directions of our joint activities

The protection of the common cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, the prevention of its appropriation and distortion should become one of the leading areas of our joint activities.

As reported by AZERTAC, this is stated in the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the II Meeting of the Heads of Intellectual Property Offices of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States.

"The foundations of intellectual property law in Azerbaijan were laid on the initiative of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and in the subsequent years it has been continuously improved," the address of the head of state notes.
