President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian: Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan

Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Telegram channel "Free Iran," this was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian today during an expanded meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.

He emphasized: "Karabakh is Azerbaijan, and we respect this. Certainly, our presence here will serve to strengthen bilateral ties and unity."

The Iranian President, who is on an official visit to Baku, also conveyed greetings to Ilham Aliyev from the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei.

"I am very happy to be in Azerbaijan. I hope that our presence here and the agreements that will certainly be signed during the meetings already held between experts will be the beginning of more extensive steps in our relations with your republic," he emphasized.
