President of Azerbaijan: We are rebuilding and will rebuild Agdam

We are rebuilding and will continue to rebuild Agdam. Large-scale construction work is currently underway.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in his speech at a meeting with residents who moved to new apartments in the village of Saryjaly in Agdam district.

"In the post-occupation period, many important infrastructure facilities have been commissioned, primarily roads. The Agdam-Barda road has been reconstructed. Even in Soviet times, there was no such beautiful road. The Agdam-Khankendi road is under construction. Like the Barda-Agdam road, it will be four-lane. A railway is being laid, and it will probably be commissioned this year. That is, it will be easy to reach Agdam by rail. A railway station complex is being built. The Agdam mosque has been restored," noted the head of state.
