President of Azerbaijan: Armenia forced us to enter the war

The war was not our choice. We were forced into the war by Armenia. Its patrons standing behind it apparently did not expect that Azerbaijan would restore its sovereignty and international law by force.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the VII CICA Summit.

Noting that all of them were wrong, the head of state emphasized: "They probably did not know well the character of our proud, freedom-loving people, living by their traditions and moral values."
