The Media and Broadcasting Council and the Ministry of Health issued a joint statement
A screenshot of a letter, allegedly prepared on behalf of the Ministry of Health, is being circulated on social networks and messengers, reporting the introduction of restrictions on wearing hijab in medical institutions. It is noted that this "document" is fake.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a joint statement by the Media and Broadcasting Council and the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
"The Ministry of Health has not approved such a document and has not given medical institutions instructions of such content. Presenting a forged document as official correspondence is disinformation that misleads the public.
The Media and Broadcasting Council urges media entities and social media users to verify the accuracy of information through official sources, not to distribute forged documents as genuine, and not to contribute to the spread of disinformation," the statement says.
