Parliament approved new judicial appointments

Judges will be appointed to the courts of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, and other cities.

As reported by Oxu.Az, this issue was brought up for discussion at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.

According to the draft decision, the following individuals were proposed to be appointed as judges of the Baku Court of Appeal with a change of their positions:

- Ayten Heydar gizi Aliyeva - judge of the Baku Court for Serious Crimes;

- Telman Gulamali oglu Huseynov - judge of the Baku Court for Serious Crimes;

- Elnur Alem oglu Nuriyev - judge of the Baku Court for Serious Crimes;

- Farid Sabir oglu Ismayilzade - judge of the Sheki Administrative Court;

- Elshan Ugur oglu Abdullayev - judge of the Shirvan Commercial Court;

- Elmeddin Mirpasha oglu Huseynov - judge of the Nasimi District Court of Baku;

- Rena Nazim gizi Gafarova - judge of the Sabail District Court of Baku.

The draft proposed to relieve Vahid Nariman oglu Sadigov from the position of judge of the Baku Court of Appeal due to a change of position, and Nural Turab oglu Aliyev from the position of judge of the Ganja Court of Appeal due to a change of position.

It was proposed to change the position of judge of the Baku Military Court Bilal Mahir oglu Mammadov and appoint him to the Sumgayit Court of Appeal.

At the same time, the following judges were proposed to be appointed as judges of the Sheki Court of Appeal with a change of their positions:

- Etibar Mustafa oglu Mustafayev - judge of the Sheki Administrative Court;

- Anar Alifaga oglu Askerov - judge of the Agsu District Court.

In addition, the following judges were proposed to be appointed as judges of the Shirvan Court of Appeal with a change of their positions:

- Fakhri Gummat oglu Hajizade - judge of the Sheki Administrative Court;

- Nijat Rauf oglu Agabekov - judge of the Lankaran District Court.

The draft decisions were put to a vote and adopted in a single reading.
