Iran thanked Azerbaijan
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan and a number of other countries for supporting Iranian pilgrims who found themselves abroad after the outbreak of conflict in the Middle East.
As reported by Türkiye Today, he made this statement in an interview with Iranian state television.
Araghchi noted that Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia provided assistance to Iranian pilgrims who were outside the country during the conflict with the United States and Israel.
It should be recalled that on February 28, the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran, carrying out airstrikes on a number of cities. In response, Iran fired missiles at Israeli territory and attacked American military bases in Persian Gulf countries.
