Ilham Aliyev: Anthony Blinken's policy has reduced American-Azerbaijani relations to nothing

Anthony Blinken's policy has effectively reduced American-Azerbaijani relations to nothing.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during his speech at the opening ceremony of the XII Global Baku Forum.
"We have built these relations over decades. We were a reliable and close partner of the USA, and they were with us. And when they needed us, we were there for them: when it came to Iraq, when it came to Afghanistan... Not being a NATO country, Azerbaijan joined operations in Afghanistan in 2020. It was our [contingent] that left this country last," said the head of state. "However, after we left, sanctions were imposed against us, and this caused great disappointment in Azerbaijan," added the head of our state.
