Hikmet Hajiyev: Artificial intelligence has become part of our reality in two years

In just two years, artificial intelligence has transformed from a technology in its early stages of development into an integral part of our reality.

As Report informs, this was stated by the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, speaking at the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.

Hajiyev emphasized that the Shusha Forum today is one of the leading regional platforms.

"The topic of artificial intelligence was discussed at the Shusha Global Media Forum. At that time, it was only in its early stages of development, and for some, presentations prepared using artificial intelligence came as a surprise. In just two years, artificial intelligence has already become part of our reality," Hajiyev said.

He noted that social media, on the one hand, have expanded opportunities for communication, and on the other hand, have accelerated the spread of disinformation and manipulation in society.

"Digital platforms have given a voice to billions of people, yet at times it becomes more difficult to separate truth from lies," the presidential assistant emphasized.
