Budget rules changed in Azerbaijan

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev approved amendments to the law "On the budget system," adopted by the Milli Mejlis on July 14.

As Azertag reports, the updated law provides for a change in the budget rule in Azerbaijan.

The law was developed to improve budget legislation, taking into account the conclusions of the Accounts Chamber on draft laws related to the execution of the state budget.

In addition, the head of state signed a decree on the application of the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 245-VIIGD dated July 14, 2025 "On amendments to the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan 'On the budget system'" and on amendments to some decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with this.
