Azerbaijan will host the OIC summit next year
Next year Azerbaijan will host the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was announced by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yalchin Rafiyev during a discussion on "The Rise of the Global South and the West: Azerbaijan's role, new opportunities for cooperation and development" in the committee on international relations and inter-parliamentary ties of the Milli Mejlis.
According to him, Azerbaijan's agenda for the upcoming period includes many important events.
"Over the next two years, Azerbaijan will chair the OIC. The Global Forum on Urbanization and other events are also expected to be held in Baku," he said.
