Azerbaijani film wins prestigious award at Italian film festival

The short film by Azerbaijani director Suad Gara Requiem for the Caspian was awarded the "Special Distinction" at the Pianeta Mare Film Festival in Italy.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the decision to award was made by the Youth Jury of the festival.
The film, created in a poetic form, is dedicated to the environmental consequences of the rapid decline in water levels in the Caspian Sea.
The film is a joint work of Azerbaijan, Great Britain and Italy and was created with the support of the Zeitgeist19 foundation.
Director - Suad Gara, screenwriters - Suad Gara and Almagyul Menlibaeva, producer - Farah Piriye Cohen, composer - Eugenio Mazzetto, cinematographer - Alisa Tarelicheva, editor - Rinat Bekchintaev.
It should be noted that the Pianeta Mare Film Festival is held annually in Naples and is dedicated to films about the ocean, water and sustainable environmental development.
