The payment date for pensions for January is now known

The date of January pension payments in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron district has been announced. The corresponding transfers are scheduled for the middle of the month.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to milli.az, the process of pension payments in these regions will start on January 13.

In the following days, according to the approved schedule, January pension payments will be made in other cities and districts of the country, as well as to citizens eligible for pensions on preferential terms.

Note that from January 2026, all types of labor pensions are planned to be increased by approximately 10 percent. It is expected that the indexation will affect about 1.1 million people. The increase is associated with the growth of the average monthly nominal wage compared to the previous year. Currently, this indicator has increased by 9.7 percent and reached 1,093 manats.
