Next year in Azerbaijan, AI-95 gasoline will not be produced

No production of AI-95 gasoline is planned in Azerbaijan next year.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is reflected in the draft state budget for 2026.

According to the document, excise tax revenues in 2026 are expected to reach 1 billion 584 million manats, of which 49.2% or 779 million manats will come from the oil and gas sector. Compared to the forecast for 2025, revenues from the oil and gas sector will decrease by 196.7 million manats, or by 20.2%

Production of AI-95 gasoline, which is produced in the country and intended for domestic consumption, is not planned for next year. At the same time, consumption of AI-92 gasoline is expected to decrease by 239.9 thousand tons (or by 14.7%) and diesel fuel by 298.5 thousand tons (or by 13.7%).

It should be noted that in January - September 2025, Azerbaijan produced 1 million 67.54 thousand tons of AI-92 gasoline, which is 2.1% more compared to the same period last year. Production of AI-95 gasoline for the same period was only 13.8 thousand tons, which is 45% less than last year's figure.
